This is a judgment call left to the mods.
Higher level infractions can result in an instant ban. If you make a simple "misdemeanor" level infraction, you get a strike. The three strike system that applied to flaking now applies to us all. If the splitter does not provide a date, then the expiration will default to 1 month for US splits, and 2 months for UK/AU splits. Once that date arrives, if the split is not full, the splitter must cancel and remove the thread, or increase his amount and begin the process of purchasing and distributing. Upon posting of a split, the splitter will assign a reasonable time limit for how long the split will remain open.

As a splitter, you do not have to wait until your split is full and paid for, but if you decide to buy the bottle early, you're on the hook for the remainder if it doesn't fill. The bottle must be purchased after the split is posted.
